In a perfect world, my sunny disposition and joie de vivre would never be unsettled. All products would work perfectly the first time, all traffic snarls would be cleared well before my arrival, and everyone with whom I come in contact, either in person or through the media, would have managed to align their outlooks quite properly with mine. From time to time, however, slices of life, be they television programming, inanimate objects, or the foibles of others will render cause to distill and discern what is wrong with the world. The natural world is pretty much out of my control, so I focus attention on a range of minor annoyances to full-blown calamities, like world conflicts or tiny houses, that are caused and perpetrated by otherwise fairly respectable humans.
Should the reader enjoy and gain a sense of clarity and perspective from these short reflections, then my work is worth the effort.
